Help needed please...

Ive been having these problems since i started playing about 2 weeks ago...

My Flaws:

PW, SW:
I feel like I'm hitting down on the ball and cant seem to figure out why. my back swing feels pretty good but my down swing is all over the place. When I practice a normal swing in slow-mo everything lines up perfect , but when I put everything in full motion my shots are low and fast.

Driver:
When I go to hit my driver it is all over the place as well. Every shot is diffrent with it. Sometimes it goes far, far right sometimes right up the middle and sometimes far far left. These shots are also very low. I tee my ball very high and have tryed diffrent tee heights.

So ANY tips would be awsome..

-Matt

give yourself a chance to learn the swing, it take usually two years for most golfers to aquire a decent, consistant swing. learn as much as you can and stay with it. to speed things up a little, get a lesson every so often, money well spent.

most beginners hane a tendency to swing at the ball to hard, keep your swing in slow motion for a while. distance at this point is not that important, ball striking is.

I would suggest, using that money for the lesson on another golf pro.

Well, there isn't much you can do in golf to have a great swing quick. It just takes time and loads of practice.

I'll tell you though that generally speaking, the higher you tee the ball with a driver, the lower you are likely to hit is. When it's higher, you have a more sweeping motion into the ball and a more level swing. With it teed lower you will have to approach the ball from a steeper angle of attack to make solid contact, thus going higher in the air. Or at least's whats what Golf Digest says.

After playing for 2 weeks i dont know what else you would expect? Golf is one of the hardest games, it takes time to get your swing consistent. Spraying the ball around is what everyone has to go through when getting started, it just needs a lot of hard work, and you will improve.

When you say that the guy who gives you lessons is a complete, nut well is that you opinion or is that many peoples opinion, he might have more idea of whats going that you do seeming as you have only been playing 2 weeks????

Practice...Practice...Practice...Practice...Practi ce...Practice...Practice...

Not just at the driving range. You should spend an equal amount of time (maybe more) chipping and putting.
