Lift Tees - more accurate?

I purchased myself some of these tees as I was getting fed up of snapping wooden ones. Apparently these offer less resistance.

A friend had already tried these and mentioned that he seemed to be more accurate from the tee with them, plus they dont break, and being white are easy to find if they ping out of the ground.

After using these for the last few rounds I also seem to have better accuracy from the tee & straighter drives. I cannot personally see how these have made any difference from the wooden ones, but they seem to work? How bizarre.

I believe it is a mental aspecet same with the zero friction but I buy em for the fact they dont break near as easy. I just wish I could find a strong plastic tee that is actually a normal tee not one of these gimmick tees.

Corwin,
I found a thicker than normal plastic tee and loved it. It was imprinted & black. I used it for over a month then it gave-up from all the torture I put it thru.. Haven't been able to find any more. New or used.

Maybe we have the market cornered over here...all there are are either gimick tees or plastic tees...my driver tees are the same shape as wooden tees but do not break...I do a good wiggle when I put them in the ground so that they won't cause any resistance...so much better than wood...

I use a similar one...(only 4 prongs) from time to time. It may be psychological, but I feel like the ball flies a little farther.

They don't break easily, but fly a long way in front of the tee and I've lost a few like that!

Please explain your statement that "my driver tees are the same shape as wooden tees but do not break." What are they??
What "wiggle" do you use!!

They are not some crazy shape with a brush on top or hinge in the middle or a string attached to an anchor...they look like a wooden tee but are made from plastic that doesn't break....
When putting the tee in the ground, esp. if the tee ground is firm, "wiggle" the tee in the ground after pushing a bit past the desired depth so that it is loose in the ground vs a tent stake you could tie off to...then when you hit the ball there is no resistance and the tee will fly easily from the ground vs adding resistance at impact...

One of the first things my instructor showed me was to alway "wiggle" the tee after I set it in the ground. The reason is simple, first, the tee will move forward easier when you hit the ball a that means a better shot. Second, the tee will come out of the ground and not break so often. You end up hitting better shots, and don't break as many tees. Both are good things.

I stopped using wooden tees(except for my irons) a couple of months ago and swithced to Brushtees. I personally like them more because not only are they consistent on height, but also they casue less friction which equals longer shots and straighter.
