It very distracting when i go to hit as well coz i take my eye of the ball and look at the clubhead coming over....

Yes, if you get to parallel with a full turn you'll be able to see the clubhead in your peripheral vision...but you're supposed to be looking at the back of the ball. Hand/eye coordination depends on cooperation from the eyes...ever tried swatting a fly without looking right at it? You may hit it but not consistently...batters hit better when they look the ball all the way in and we all know what happens to football receivers when they don't watch the ball all they way in and try to run before the catch is actually made. Train your eyes on what you want your hands to do.

Cool

You need to concentrate on looking at the ball, and if you do that, you shouldn't notice if the clubhead comes into your field of view. It's the same thing with noise or other golfers moving while you're hitting a shot. If your mind is on your shot, you shouldn't even notice if someone talks or moves a little. If after you try concentrating on the ball, you still can't ignore the clubhead, then you might want to shorten up your backswing. The only way I can see the head of my driver is if I go a bit past parallel, so a shorter swing shouldn't hurt your game, it might in fact improve it.

alright ill give it a go

I dont really want to shorten my backswing any coz it seems like im not hitting it near hard enough it. It feel more like im just letting the club fall with no force(my hands/strength) behind it. But ill give it a try next time i go to the range.

Maybe you should go ahead and put some power behind it. Drive for show, putt for dough.
