I was on pga.com and saw a download for v1 swing analysis. Anyone ever used this program?

I did. Its a basic home edition version but you get 60 frames per second and has the tools to help with swing plane. You can also have a split screen comparing your swing to a pros.

Did you get the free or premium version?

I purchased mine about 2 year ago for $189

Yeah i got the program. A good friend of mine and former coach Brett LeBrocque help create the program (He is also the one who does the drills and stuff inside the full program). I got it before being released to the public and have used it ever since. Really easy to use and worth the money.

is it hard for the technically not savvy video guy ( me ) to use?

Download it and find out. It's free. I'll be downloading it this weekend. I hope it works with the video record capability on my digital camera.

Not realy if you know how to download your digital video recording on your computer.
Its relatively straight forward to use the software and thereare good instructional and help menus
