A fade is a little slice, and a draw is a little hook. That's about the best I can describe from that diagram. I can say that both would only apply to the center ball line of flight. Once you push or pull one as far as the other two flight lines, it's no longer truly a fade or draw.
Fade is a good shot, slightly push hook, and the ball cure from left to right;
draw is also a good shot, slight pull slice, ball cure from right to left.
That's really it isn't it...whether you start the ball out straight or just off the target, a fade or a draw is a worked ball that breaks a bit, but not the crazy left to right or right to left action that occurs when really cutting the ball one way or the other...

Shouldnt you ask yourself, when you are on a tee box and you wanna produce and fade or a draw......and you shape too the place you are swinging for then its a good swing..............working the ball is on feel and it takes hitting alot of shots before you ge that feel
Hmmm, I usually start my fades left of center and my draws a little right of center. When done properly, they usually end up on the center line, but they certainly don't start there. I think it would be pretty hard to start one on the center line, either fade or draw it, and end up on the same center line. ;)
