High Fade & Push

Last season I fought a pull all summer. Mostly a pull, sometimes a pull hook. I had a closed stance. I'm working on my alignment and aiming parallel with my target line. Also weakened my grip some as I had a pretty strong grip before. Now I'm hitting really high fades. Ball starts straight goes out a ways and then starts heading right. I wouldn't quite call it slice though. It never starts left and then heads right. Sometimes, it's a straight push. But always high. I know I'm flipping my wrists through impact too. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

You may be crowding the ball for a push. When you set up you should look down and your hands are at or right ahead of your toes.

Think about rolling your forearms not your wrists. At impact the back of your left hand (righty) should point at the hole and then turn your left knuckles at the ground. This takes some timing and will cause a draw at times so practice it.

Hitting a high fade that starts on your line and fades off during the shot is the shot you should be playing. It goes higher and lands softer. :)

Odds are if you are pushing (blocking) you're getting ahead of the ball, try and sit back on it a little more.

Line up the way you are now and go back to your stronger grip. You are appearantly leaving the face open at impact a touch and depending on whether you get lazy or get too quick with the hip turn you fade or push. Try to delelop a routine tempo everytime then your consistency should show up.
