TIGER does not use stack and tilt... so i dont have to either.
Neither did Lee Trevino, nor Eamon Darcy, Isao Aoki nor Calvin Pete and all were better golfers than probably anyone in this forum (sorry if Ian Poulter posts here) but I wouldn't recommend you try to copy them.
I have taken some of the stack part, I am loading more on my less and moving less to my right in the backswing. with my medium and short irons it works great. Nicest divots and best contact ever. I have had very little sucess with my long irons and driver though.

So have I and my irons are very crisp with a lot less mishits although my driver and fairway woods took a dump on me today. It seems that I pull the woods to the left. I have only used the stack and tilt for a couple of rounds but hit the ball beautifully at the range. It seems under pressure playing that I pull the shots but I sure like the crispness of the irons. Just got a set of MX-25s and love them
I have been trying it for about a month, and I have to agree my irons are more crisp than they have ever been. That is until I get to 4 iron and I either have a weak fade or a vicious pull. It maybe mental, but I am thinking I am playing the ball either too far forward or too far back and not getting my hips around fast enough. I just went out in the backyard and hit some 2 iron shots and the quicker my hips get around the better the results although I did have a weak hook on one ball.
I've been tooling around with the S&T and its improved my iron game by leaps and bounds. I was in a slump hitting 2-3 GIR for 9 holes and my last round using S&T I had 5 GIR. I'm still working on it with my driver but thats been a struggle with any swing. Anything from 3 wood to wedges is crisper, straighter, and more penetrating in flight. This swing has brought golf to a whole new level of fun for me. If I could get my driver and putter working together in the same round while I'm hitting it this crisp, I'd have something!
I just ordered the 4 dvd s and it looks like they took the hint because you are not forced to take the Medicus clubs with the order. But they sure try to include them. You must be careful what you click on, dont rush it, read carefully

I received the 4 dvd's from Medicus and these 2 guys put their heart and soul into these instructions, must watch it a several times cause they are very meticulous
with their instructions, have watched the first 2 so far and havent seen either guy hit a ball yet, it's almost overwhelming. Still not convinced on the Driver yet but the irons I am.
After reading all of these posts, I have come to the conclusion that a few of you wouldn't have a positive thing to say if they discovered that beer added 20 years to your life.....
The fact that S&T works for sooo many of us that have tried it and are now using it should be proof enough that is has merit in the current school of golf instruction. I have noticed that there has been an ongoing agruement on how it can't work or be good for your back/knee.
The facts for me are this....I have had 3 back surgeries for broken vertabrae in the last 6mths. and with this method of swinging the club I can now play pain free. I agree with the notion that some of you are just defensive because this swing is really an easy method to learn unlike the conventional method so many of you teach. You guys know this method works, yet you bash it with the hopes that most people will come to you for one high priced lesson after another. Frankly I don't give a **** who/what/when came up with the stack and tilt...it works, it's easy, and it makes the game much more enjoyable for the hackers like myself that have families that cannot devote months or years of lessons with the hope of getting better.
I am a believer and will continue to advocate this method to all my playing partners. So to all the nay-sayers would it really hurt your bottom line to be a little more encouraging to a different method than what you currently teach?
OK rant over.....if I offended anyone....so be it.
Back to the reason for joining.....For those of you that are using S&T, is there a general rule for ball position throughout the set. I haven't read anywhere on what they suggest.

I think most of the non-believers who claim the S&T is bad for their back are the one's who listen to and automatically believe the naysayer pro instructors... the instructors who (no doubt) think their job security is threatened by a new swing that they don't (or refuse) to understand.
As for ball placement... I put the ball dead center with the short irons and about 1/2"-1" forward of center for the mid-long irons. The FW's, the ball goes about 1"-1 1/2" forward of center. The driver, about an inch behind the instep.
