I go with the upper body and arms moving together, maintaining the triangle philosophy. It works for me, and I find that I hit the ball much more consistently using that takeaway.
That video was very helpful. I usually look for mental cues that I can work with, and he was able to provide me with that in taking the entire club back at once. I also try to think of it as trying not to break the back of my left wrist (I'm lefty) at the start.
One thing is for sure, using the hands or wrist is a DEATH MOVE from which there is no recovery. You should make no conscience effort with the hands on the full swing. The wrist should be relaxed.
Best move I know of is the One Piece Takeaway. Others like to use the left to push the club back.
Ringer, watched your video, here is some feed back.
Looks to me like the One Piece and your final one move the club back are one in the same. Have you watched the video? I cannot tell the difference between the two.

All of the methods are meant to do the same thing, that's what the instructor is saying with his final method. Each have the same motive of getting the club back, so the instructor just introduced his own way of thinking about it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure each method, in the end, is trying to do the same thing.

It does look the same. It also looks similar to the left shoulder push and a slightly wider version of the right forearm takeaway.
The difference is in your mental focus. Translating it to what the club is doing is very very important.

Ringer thanks for the feedback, I agree. For me I don't have many swing thoughrs. I use the Natural Golf Swing, so everything is pretty automatic from the setup. My only real swing thought is back and through the ball, and watch it fly.
