Hi guys, im new here...

but for the past month or so, every club in my bag has been going extremely high, yet maintaining distance, besides my driver.
today, i hit a five iron that looked like a sand wedge, but went 210. i do not understand what could be causing this, or what could help me hit the ball with a lower trajectory to get some more distance.

Are you placing the ball forward in your stance? Even if you tee it low, where you place the ball in your stance will determine the loft on the hit. Move the ball back a bit and see what happens.

Only two things can cause that, placing the ball too far forward, or you are releasing the club too early and the club head passes your hands before impact. Eitherway it is increased loft.

Well if you are not losing distance maybe they will land softer on the green. So maybe you made a game improvement. I would only worry if you were popping them up and losing distance.
