Ex-girlfriend the witch curse my golf game?

I just got back from the driving range and hit maybe 3 out of 50 balls even close to being straight. This is one of the more depressing days I've had in a long time. I used to be a decent golfer, never great, but normally would shoot around a 90. This summer has been a different story though. From the first time I played this past spring I have been shooting everything straight right with my irons. Not a slice where it goes straight and then right, I'm talking if I look straight ahead it's heading at a 45 degree angle and slicing. No problems with my driver, just my irons. I realize the club face is probably open at contact but when I concentrate on closing it I just pull it straight left. I'm thinking maybe something in my swing plane may be messed up? Could coming outside in, or possibly inside out cause something like this? My only other guess is that my ex-girlfriend the witch put a curse on my golf game when I dumped her because she knew how much I loved to play.

I know I need to get a lesson, but right now I don't have the money in my last year of college, next summer I will probably get one.

Better it be a ex-girlfriend than an ex-wife, trust me I know.

Don't think so much. Envision the swing and results you desire...paint a picture in your mind...then just let 'er rip! An overactive, unfocused mind is a golf swing's worst enemy.

Any of you gurus out there have any ideas what would cause it to go slicing hard to the right coming off the clubface?

You may be blocking it by lifting your left shoulder (assuming you are right handed) before impact.
Try running through the swing in ultra slow motion and "lifting your left shoulder" before impact. Stop just before impact and take a not of the club face. You will see that it is way open.
If this is your problem concentrate on keeping the shoulder down, which also means keeping the head down, and see how you go.
Really difficult to advise without being able to see the problem, but the above is pretty commone amongst weekend golfers.

Maybe an outside-in swing with hosel rocket contact is what's going on here? This would explain the pulls as well, if you get your clubface "square" (really outside-in also). Which means you may also be standing too close to the ball, swinging with your arms instead of turning your shoulders in the backswing, etc.

Check the face of the irons for a foreign substance. Those gals can be tricky!
