Have any of you heard seen or even tried the Impact ball? It's supposed to help with the swing yet somethings those things look so cheezy and a waste of money. You're thought? What things do you use or do to work on your swing?
Before I say anything, I like to know something about your game. What specific problems are you having? What is your handicap and if you don't know what is an average score for you? I do see what looks like posture an alignment problems however, you need to have someone film you from directly behind. The angle on which filmed your swing is not a very good one for analysis. You need one from directly behind and another looking directly at you from the side.
I'm no expert. My two cents from seeing the video a couple of times is that you might be standing a bit too far away from the ball. Try aligning yourself to the ball so that your arms are a bit closer to your chest instead of stretching out in front of you at address.
your grip looks a bit awkward but i cant really see it.
in order to hit good shots you will need a good grip.
you should post a pic of your grip and this would be a great help aswell.
you dont look a bad golfer just a couple of things you might be doing wrong and soon you will be lowering they scores and hitting good golf shots.
i recommend getting a lesson if you have the money.
You need to bend more forward from the hips. Yea and im not sure if its just the video angle, but your clubhead looks completely closed at the top. But from a better angle you will probably receive better feedback
My apologies for the bad angle, I'll get a better video the next time I go to the driving range.
I've tried that tighter position where my hands are directly below my shoulders, I can't get the same power/pop/swingspeed with it however.
As far as alignment, I am purposely aiming about 10 degrees to the left for the video shot itself.
I can definitely see that you are aiming left but from the angle of the video it looks like your shoulders are turned more left than your feet when they should be squared up. Get that new video and maybe some of these guys can help some more.

You are right. I emulated my swing after reading your post in the living room and the first thing I noticed was the alignment of my shoulders. Very closed. I've compensated it by opening up my stance and I didn't even realize this until today. Thanks! Can't wait to get out there and give it another go
