slight jerk up just before impact....help me stop it!
I think this is one of my worst flaws....on my downswing, just before impact, I kind of jerk up its either my left shoulder goes forward and up or my left knee straightens out a little bit...worst is when the whole body kind of swings ahead of my arms more like a roundhouse hit...oh boy!
this causes me to miss hit the ball fat or thin....and I can't stop it (well, it keeps on happening, I can remove it in some shots but after a while its back again)..I always think of "stay down" but this thing keeps on happening....I hope some of you can help me solve this problem

Your left knee should snap straight. Take a look at a Golf Digest magazine. You'll see still shots, frame by frame of PGA Tour pros from different angles. That's not the problem...

Martini, what do you mean that it should snap straight?
I think I also have an overly aggressive/upperbody and swing as a whole...

I don't know if you've ever heard of hitting off a stiff or hard left side. Your left arm is extended, your left leg is extended. For some reason, I think I'd do better explaining with some pictures...

I suffer from that problem too if I read your post correctly. It has been improved now for me but I know exactly what happened when it happens now. Here's what I did to fix my problem.
1) Ensure your swing is synchronized. The triangle formed by your shoulders and arms should be maintained through impact and that your upper body doesn't outrace your arms. There are a lot of articles online to help you fix that through drills. Google for it.
2) Maintain spine angle through impact. Again google for that. My wild guess is that your jerking up motion causes you to go upright and lose your spine angle. This may cause you to hit thin shots. To fix that you may get fixated on that one single thought and end up not transferring your weight. This causes you to start hitting behind the ball and hence fat shots.

All of this is rooted in balance issues...work on your setup posture, weight distribution and foot spacing until you have a rock solid base that is easy to turn and swing a club while maintaining even pressure across the soles of your feet...feel like your feet are welded to the ground...
