Hey there. Ive started pulling almost all my shots. The distance is actually better now than it was, but when you pull the shots of the course that doesn`t help much.
I figured there can be two reasons for this:
Either Im opening up my shoulders to soon in the down so at impact my shoulders ar not square and im pulling.
Either that or my spine angel collapses at the top because I try to turn to much, and hence the overswing.
I have a video out on youtube if this could help you to help me.
BUT, if it was an overswing wouldnt I get spin on the ball as well? It goes pretty straight right..hm
Youtube does not offer slow-motion and kinda stinks for golf videos.
Yeah, ill do that. Another thing that might help you guys understand the issue is that this happened alot more often now, that I got my arms longer away from the body and widening my stance, compared to the video.
I still had that issue though on the video swing, but not as often. I just as often sliced it, which I didn`t do at all today.
From what I see on the video, I think the problem may be at the top of your backswing. I think you take the club back a bit too far, and that you will get more consistent results with a shortened backswing. You can see some tension creep in near the top of your backswing, especially in the 2nd viewing angle. Your swing plane looks very 'upright', but that is not uncommon for tall guys (from the video you do look tall). However, near the top of your backswing it looks like the club strays a bit too high.

I have actually thought about that. I have a shoulder inflammation, so I reckon shortening the strain on my shoulders could produce a more consistent shot.
Im 187 tall. In feet thats about 6 ft 2,5 inches I guess.
I could try to bring it more to the inside, with a larger hip turn and se if that helps? I think maybe bigger hip turn and shorter shoulder turn would be best for my body due to the inflammation.
And like that other fellow said, flexing my knees more maybe. But tall players stand more over the ball or?
Your hip turn is quite large already, I don't think increasing hip turn is the answer. Adding knee flex might help. In the second view, it looks like you may have your weight on your heels. You want your weight on the balls of your feet.
In the front view at the top of your back swing your spine has tilted away from the target moving your head back to over your rear foot. On your down swing you seem to move back to vertical but at the bottom your head appears slightly ahead of the ball (low lighting makes it kinda tuff to see). May try quieting this movement; widening your stance slightly?

Reason: grammer

AHa, I see it too!
I don`t stay back enough with my head, I get ahead of my shot right at the end there.
Think I will go down to the range and experiment a bit with these things:
- Flexing knees more, not standing to upright over the shot.
- Reducing shoulder turn and se if the overswing stops.
- Staying behind the ball by moving my lower body towards the target in the downswing and not the upper body.
Im reluctant to reduce my shoulder movement, as this will effect clubhead speed, but maybe I have to.
