Pulling like ever before! Mayday!

Well, If noone listens, fine. I just have to complain because Im getting aggrevated.

Like someone said, I think I need some lessons. I tried to get help from mister Shawn Clement on youtube but his advice haven`t helped me much yet.

The problem is:

I cant get any lag and I constantly hit the ground 2 inches before the ball. Not even in practice swings the club bottoms out in front of my center.

The second is, Im pulling 80% of my shots, in an almost dangerously manner. Making solid enough ball contact whenover I focus, but my shoulders ends up towards the right at almost every swing.
When I try to resist my shoulders I end up bottoming the club down to soon and slicing the tweeds out of it.

I tried to bend my knees more, shortening my backswing, resisting the shoulders in the downswing etc. Nothing seemed to work. Only thing that gave me decent results was shortening the swing to the club was only perpendicucal to the ground. But I lost to much clubhead spead and got frustrated so I longated my swing again.

Okay... Thats about it

Re: Pulling like ever before! Mayday!

Stand and take a normal stance with the club with no ball on the ground. Take several practice swings noting where the club contacts the ground after the practice swing. Place ball position about 1/2 inch behind where you see the start of a divot. This should give you the correct ball placement to contact the ball just as the club is coming to square. If you are pulling then you are not keeping your spine alignment. If you have a slight bend in the knees and a bend at the waist then just turn the shoulders and arms around the spine and you should get a straight ball flight. Keep a loose grip and the hinge and lag should happen normally. I'm no teaching pro but that's the best of the way I understand it and works for me when I don't do stupid things.

Have a friend take a look. Or, you may even be able to detect it yourself.

Re: Pulling like ever before! Mayday!

Hm. Just checked my stance and shoulder allignment.

Im a left handed golfer and when I place my feet to a lign of aim my shoulders where aiming to the left, not the right, where my pulls have come...!

Does that mean my shoulders are open?

Im getting confused, I would think A shoulder Aim to the left would make me shoot left instead of pulling it the opposite way.. Hm

Just looked at it now. It looks square

So Its aimed to the left at first and then returns to square. Thats weird. Maybe its just that I take my club up to vertical which forces me to come outside to in?

Re: Pulling like ever before! Mayday!

I think looking at your divots would be a world of good for you right now.

If you use a club or a metre stick to make sure that your...

target line
stance line
hip line
shoulder line

...are all parallel. From there, hit some shots. If the general direction is off-line, take a look-see where your divots are pointing. That will indicate your swing path, be it inside-out or outside-in (you are most likely the latter).

At this point, it's time for corrective action. Start hitting 1/4 or 1/2 shots at a slower speed, conciously forcing your body to correct the swing path mistake. Once you can do it with a 1/2 swing, work on 3/4 swings at a slower pace and then gradually to full bore shots.

Yeah, I think so to, the divots would be of great assistance right now. The swing I have on youtube is probably not similar to what I have now, whch is a swing totally out of substance since Im trying to fix it

I will look at the divots and make sure every part as you said are paralell and work my way from theere. After I have done that, I will make a new video if I can`t fix it on my own.

If you want to the video is here: (recorded on web-cam 2 weeks ago).
