New Swing Problem- Roundhouse hit?

I've been experiencing this a few games now, my right shoulder sort of turns faster than everything else creating a "roundhouse hit" atleast that was what my buddies called it...

its like hitting inside-in with the whole right side being too active? or sometime outside in...Pulling, Hooking or even duck hooking my drives...it's like my body has turned already and the clubhead is rushing to follow it...how do I stop this, any ideas or tips? I think my swing plane becomes too flat when this happens....

Sorry I don't know how to explain it better....

Thanks.

Re: New Swing Problem- Roundhouse hit?

Interesting analogy. I like to think of the golf-swing as an 'uppercut' motion. I am not sure whether this is just 'a feel-thing' or whether it carries some technical validity, but it works for me.

Re: New Swing Problem- Roundhouse hit?

I try to keep everything connected via the triagle formed by my arms and shoulders. Swing thought wise, I start the backswing feeling that my rt shoulder starts back and up pulling my left shoulder under my ching as the club comes on plain. Downswing starts w/the left should pulling my rt shoulder to my chin while matching w/my chest turn. I don't conscientiously think about the arms or hands. They are just part to the triangle.

yeah I think the possible solution to this is to keep my arms in front of me all the time
