You don't need it if you know the correct way to align and address the ball.
This might help:
Hold your club in your left hand (assuming you are right handed) and standing with your feet together bring the club up till it is horizontal to the ground - pointing striaght out in front of you. Now with your right hand measure one full hand span (spread fingers - the distance from your pinkie to your thumb is a full hand span) between the butt of the club and your belt. Keeping all of that intact bend forward at the waist until the club touches the ground.
Now spread your feet till they are just shoulder lenght and flex your knees until you can just see your shoe laces. Keep the distance between the butt of the club and your belt bcukle at one hand span.
You should now be in the correct position and your spine should be straignt. Feel as if you are pushing your butt out in this position.

Thanks for the feed back, i got the shirt in the mail 2 days ago. It works great, i felt great over the ball
shirt works in a great way. Soon as you hunch over or curve your back it feels awkward. Just arch the back a little & you feel nothing thought out the swing. I was stiking the ball great. i even wear around the house. Better for the back to. Anyone out there wanna have a better round better get one

Any one hear about Strait Back Golf Shirt? Seen one on ebay , suppose to help with posture & hunching. Thinking of buying one,any merit to it. Thanks
IMO, unless you have back problems that seriously warrant extra help with posture, that device is fairly useless. Remind yourself of posture in your pre-shot. Haunching over feels more relaxed, but less athletic. Think stick your rump out and widen your shoulders and your posture should be just fine.
since wearing the shirt i feel more athletic over the ball, plus i know before wearing the shirt i didn't even come close to having the posture of a Pro. Take away weight shift all seems to work easier now. Just wish i got one last year.
