Quick help

Hey guy's, I'm going to make this quick because I have a school match in a few minutes. Basically, yesterday I played in a match and everything was ok except I was hitting way to far behind the ball on ALL of my full swing shots, my driver shots were going way to high and I duffed like 3 or 4 iron shots. If you guys could help me out and tell me what I might be doing wrong that would be awesome. Thanks.

-Junior

Re: Quick help

Play the ball further back in your stance. Take your normal stance, but stand 6 inches more away from the ball. Now take your regular swing( you will not hit the ball). Now look at where you club bottomed out(were does the divit start). This will show you how much to adjust the stance.

Re: Quick help

playing the ball back in the stance is just a band aide on the problem. I think you should look at your Hip Sway. You need to get yourself on camera to check if you are moving your lower body way too much. You may want a training aid to help. Here is one from Sports Authority.
