Watched the video of my golfswing... !

And I'm a little mad

It was too light outside so its no point uploading it right now, ill have to wait before I get a better camera/or better lighting conditions.

These fundamentals where on place:
- At the top of the backswing both elbows where paralell
- Spine angel stayed relatively constant during the entire swing.
- Stacked finish with decent balance.
- At impact half of my front leg was forward to the "line" it had at address.
- Extensions of both arms in forward swing and back swing looked good.

No here's the fishy parts. ( or is it?)
- Outward knee moved all the way over to my left knee (left handed golfer).
- Left knee straightened out in the backswing. (not entirely but almost).
- Spine angel increased (tilt!) in the backswing (slightly) and decreased in the downswing. But still tilted away from the "target" at impact.
- Both Hip turn and shoulder turn looked well over 45/90 degrees. Maybe 55/100 or so. Both *** and back where facing the target at the top of the back swing.
- At impact both shoulders and hips looks pretty square to the target.
- My head moved 1-2 inches in front of its original position at address. Almost staying behind the ball..

Not sure what to make of this but I am a little bit frustrated. Finish looks great and certain positions look good but all in all it still looks like a shift. Previously I tried to fix this and I noticed I was getting way out in front of the ball (not shifting though).

I will take a partial attempt at it and I am sure others will have some good observations too.

You must be over-swinging quite a bit. Your forward knee should never go back that far. Hip turn should probably be no more than 45 degrees as anymore unloads the tension you build up in your rear quads and front lats. This stretch produces the majority of your power. The more the spine angle remains constant in the back swing the better; but, that is not to say your head will not move back slightly. Results there vary slightly between a one plane swing and a two planer.
However, your head moving ahead of the ball at impact kills the built up potential in your swing and causes all sorts of grief.

Try only rolling your feet flat on the ground to the inside on the back swing and rolling your rear foot to the inside on the downswing. Position your rear foot perpendicular to the target line at address. This will shorten up your swing and restrict hip turn building up that desired tension previously mentioned.

Have fun getting better!

Re: Watched the video of my golfswing... !

I agree with you. My local pro said the same. That I wen't well over 90 degrees should turn and I was like "WHAT?"
The reason is that I wached my swing and I had like 65 degrees shoulder turn and the same amount of hip turn (I know CRAZY).

I trained strength for my back rotional as well as my hips: Now I'm turning well over 90 degrees with my shoulders and over 45 degrees with my hips.

Here's and Idea. I tie a golf shaft on my back and take a few swings while I record it. Then I will have a pretty good view of my much the back/shoulds turn right?

You need to turn your back on the ball and the target, with control and the confidence to return the hands to the address position (which was good to begin with) with acceleration, lag and timing and contact the ball squarely on the way to a full, high finish. That takes practice. Then, when you get good at that, you need to learn to move the ball a little one way or the other...one's good, two's a Ringer. That takes more practice. Then you need to employ your skills to strategically tackle a course four times in a row. By then, you're an accomplished golfer and you are suddenly faced with the dilemma of deciding what direction you want your golfing endeavor to take...but it's a good dilemma, really. Details are useful but they must become second-nature for you to truly enjoy your outing. That takes practice.
