I'm going to get right to it. Usually I hit a 3-wood for my second shot if the hole is really long and I keep topping it. Also, I played 9 yesterday and everything was good except for my little 30 yard pitch shots. I used to stick those 2 feet every time a few months ago, and now I can't get it within 20 feet. If anyone has any tips to help me fix these it would be much appreciated.
I doubt you will get much advice. Be a little more specific with what is happening.
Any possible error could cause your pitches to be off. Just saying that you can't get it within 20 ft anymore really isn't any information we can use to help you.
Explain in more detail what is happening with your shots please.

Sorry about that, I have been hitting my pitch shots WAY to far even when i'm taking a good divot. Once in a while I will hit a ball on the hozzle of the club. My 3-wood was great today, the only problem I had with all of my clubs today was that I would duck hook them to the left. I quickly figured out what I was doing (lower body out racing upper body) but then I started to hit my irons thin for some reason. I hope this helps give you a better prespective of what I could be doing wrong. Thank you for making me aware of not giving enough info quadruple.
Whenever I have problems with my game, I go to the practice tee. Time spent there usually lets me see what my errors are and provides the opportunity to correct them without the pressure of playing on the course. Most of the time it's that I'm gripping the club too firmly and that sets up tension all through the swing. Ben Hogan once noted that "not one golfer in a hundred grips the club softly enough." My wife says when I swing like an old guy (which I am) everything seems to go better.

I agree..go to the range...but focus in on what your doing wrong..dont get up there and machine gun kelly a bucket of range balls and be left pondering..go through your pre-shot routine(if you have one) before every shot...as far as your problems go..Im guessing alot of it is mental for you...The more you think about it..the more it will happen..guranteed..So try your BEST to just get it out of your head...
Lets see..Your hitting your wedges far..are you hitting them solid..thin..what?..also..You may want to see where your ball position is...I know with my wedges I like to play them back and keep them low..but at other times I play them up and hit it high..But alot of my wedge shots distance has to do with where i play the ball in my stance..so work on tht If you think it may be a problem..
For your 3-wood problem..Probably mental as well..Maybe your looking up to see a bad shot..Myabe not..id have to be there to tell you that..Try and get someone to look at your swing for you and maybe they can help you out with your problems a little better than we can here without seeing the swings your making...But all in all..I hope I helped a little
