Granted, I am not a very good golfer at all, but I love the game!! I go out often trying to improve myself. This being only my 2nd year of golf, I am very pleased with myself to be under an 18 handicap this year

Last year the majority of my problems lied with my driver. I had a nasty slice that I played with ALL year. At the beginning of this year, all of last years errors had been forgotten apparently.
With my driver I now hit 1 of 2 shots with my driver. #1 - VERY high tee shot. It still goes far, but I lose much distance when I hit it this high. I can hit the ball 280-300+ with my driver if I hit it well.........not even close if it goes this high.
#2 Instead of a slice, this year I have a duck hook. One that makes you go WOW. For what it's worth, I enjoy hooking the ball

After slicing all of last year and knowing how hard it is to correct, I love seeing myself with a hook. Also, I will still occasionally slice a ball.
The big problem I am having now is rotating my arms too quickly at impact I believe. It's the one thing I worked on the most, and it shows. Any tips or drills to work this flaw out of my game? I want to be able to feel the correct swing. Please don't give me the easy answer of "get a lesson". I will be getting lessons in the near future, but before I do that, I still want to be more consistent with ball striking.
