Any tips for curing a pull hook or hook?

I am getting good distance sometimes, but my balls are hooking big time. The irons tend to hook as well any tips on how to correct this type of swing? I am just in the starting out stages. Also when I hit my irons the ball height is not very high what could be causing that with a slight hook, but the driver has a big time hook on it. I have a video I could send if anyone is willing to look at my pitiful swing..:( Thanks for your help..

Sure, post the video, and describe ball flight. Starting straight and hooking? Pull hook? Push Hook? No one will judge "pitiful"-just want to help you enjoy the game more, and hitting it straight does that. Frontal and downrange view helpful.

Re: Any tips for curing a pull hook or hook?

reading your post it sounds like you have a really strong grip causing the clubface to close easily I would shift your left hand under more on the grip where it should look as if your thumb should be pointing straight down the shaft and your left hand should feel as if it is under the club instead of on top of the club then your right hand should overlap your left securing the left thumb down the shaft with the right palm this is what is called a neutral grip, you could google neautral grip and see pictures, thanks
