help me stop ballooning my driver!!!

I have a taylormade r5 dual 9.5 stiff driver. I usually drive straight or a slight fade. But i have a serious problem with ballooning the drive. The ball will look great for the first couple of seconds but then it shoots straight up and ofcouse comes straight down. It usually goes 240-260 but it should be going 270-290. I know im losing distance but i can't stop it. Should i tee higher? lower? put the ball back in my stance? up in my stance? I use the maxfli noodle ball. Someone told me to use a low driver spin ball like Bridgestone B330 or B330s , would this help? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Re: help me stop ballooning my driver!!!

i was doing the same thing. i had to tee the ball lower and shallow out my swing a little. i also bought shorter tees because ive always teed the ball a certain way and i would tee it high. i finally just bought a lower lofted driver. i went with an 8.5. jury is still out on that. this could be really wrong but it is working for me.

I would try teeing the ball lower and move it up in your stance to level out your swing before buying a new club with less loft.
