For me it is setting up to hit a draw. This is my money shot. As a matter of fact I hit the draw better then any other shot in my bag. My set up is simple I play the ball a little more forward in my stance andgle my club face to a closed position (at target) then I simply close my stance to where I want the ball to start prior to the right to left curve. I feel so comfotable in the closed stance and the ball a little forward in my stance...I wonder if this says anything about my swing in general since this feels so much more natural then say setting up for a straight shot? From this draw set up I can hit every shot and I mean this folks it is so easy for me...even when my swing is really off I can hit this shot anytime anywhere for some really good distance and accuracy........I can't help but think of the old saying "the toughest shot in golf to hit is a straight shot." Again the comfort level is derived from the closed stance and the ball a little forward in the stance....does this say anything about my swing in general or my set up or whateva?

Noreaster, It does say a lot about your swing. It is crying out that you have found something that works consistently for you regardless of swing mechanics. I am sure someone might question your methodology; but, results are what counts.
For me, it is PW and 56° SW from 115 in, using full, 3/4, and 2/3 swings hitting them high or low. That's my thing.
My best shot(s) are from around the green...chipping, little pitches, greenside bunkers...that's my thing and almost all I practice...outside of that it would be driver, but I go through phases with that...
Pitching wedge is my favorite tool in the bag. From 120 in I can do all sorts of things with it. I also like my driver off the deck when a low screamer is called for. Another favorite is 4 iron chip when alot of green and little carry is the shot.
My best shot is the drive. I usually play a fade, but can hit a draw if needed. The tee shot sets up the hole for me and if I'm having a bad day driving it just gets miserable out there.
