Home exercises & drills

Hello

Now that season is over in Finland I'd like to get tips on exercises that can be done at home with very limited space (no room for swinging club).

I'm hitting the gym twice a week for general conditioning and 1-2 aerobic exercises on top of that. I also have hour of indoors range practice a week

In this context I'm looking for golf specific exercises/drills for posture, balance, weigth shifting etc. that can be done once a week on top of above mentioned training.

cheers
Janus

Re: Home exercises & drills

Here are 4 exercisizes Golf Digest recommends to help prevent knee damage:

1. lateral heisman
2. forward lunge
3. single-leg deadlift
4. lateral monsters

I think you can find out how to do them on the net...

Good Luck

In a word, yes. A moderate lifting regimen just to stay toned won't hurt that much but a heavy lifting regimen resulting in significantly more mass will, at the very least, change your feel...you can kiss your chipping and putting touch goodbye. Neither regimen particularly enhances your golf muscles.
