What's your club head speed with the Driver

I went onto a launch monitor about 2 months ago and it showed that my swing speed was 108 and my ball speed was 150. I was wondering what everyone elses was?

Last time I was measured, my clubheadspeed was varying from 105-108 mph, don't recall ballspeed.

118-122 mph consistantly, but that was on a cheap monitor, some laser type, but can't remember the name. It was also about 2 years ago.

I got measured around 2 months ago when I had the 580XD re-shafted. I was consistently around 95 mph.

Most pro shops have a device that can do that. Best bet is to find a shop that has a launch monitor, as it will give you the probable ball flight as well.

My ball speed has been around 170, don't know what this translates into clubhead speed. The guy at the store gave me a percentage to mulitple but I forgot what the number was.

What is your handicap? What is your balance like? To have this fast of swing speed you have to be super, super athletic and strong. I mean, in comparison, John Daly has a normal speed of around 130...I'm sure he can get up into the 140's if he really gets after it, but having this fast of swing speed is really just incredible. Not to say that you're lying, but I for one would have to see to believe...just me.

Mark Mcgwire has a swing speed just as high, and he is an old geezer now, looking at the Senior tour.

Mark Mcgwire is on the senior tour?? When did this happen?

I mean, its totally possible to have that fast of a swing speed...I admit that, but if you look at every single player on tour, there are only about 5 if that, that possess the ability to get there swing up that high. So if johnny trace has that high of a swing speed I would either be getting some lessons and trying to get on tour, trying work my way on the the long drive championships tour or something, because you can't teach that kind of swing speed....I mean myself I hit the ball about 300-330 usually, I have a 125 swing speed when I really go after it...with a 142 swing speed you're hitting the ball like 380 and above...that's just not very likely in my book. But that's just my opinion.

No, he is not on tour yet, I said he was looking at it. Mark is now a scratch golfer, he might get there. It will be fun to watch. He has already beat some of the big boys in the golf skills challenge earlier this year on TGC.
