fades and draws

im left handed and my drives go way right than back to the left to the fairway, but my playing partner says i could prolly gain 50 or 60 yards if i hit left to right or straight, and my drives are already pretty long, could some one tell me how to hit a draw or fade unpurpose

I can't sepak for everybody but for me:

Fade: At address my body is slightly open to the target area. This is done by maybe moving a step down with your front foot. Rotating you stance to the left. (i'm a righty).

Draw: At address I slightly close my body. (vice versa)

And.............make sure your swing path is along your BODY alignment line. That will produce the draw/fade.

I used to use this method below, but it relies too much on timing and Talent to pull it off well:

DRAW - Strong grip, with a inside/out downswing (focus on hitting the INSIDE of the ball, as you address the ball).

FADE - Weak grip, with a steeper downswing.

As I mentioned - this relies too much on timing and talent - use the method given by hkmiz above better.

im a lefty ......started golf with a huge slice
now draw most shots
here's how i changed ........flatten my backswing ..."think right hand under left armpit on the back swing"
aim clubface at 11.55 swing at 11 oclock
you also gotta train yourself to swing inside - out
i did this by mowing the back lawn with my SW - facing the way id push a mower ...and swing straight
once you stand normal again you'll find you will be swinging inside out naturally
you will have to keep working at it tho ...
oh ....finish your swing high "hands beside your ear" as opposed to low
and maybe alter your grip ....roll your right hand back till you see 3 knuckles

let me know how you get on ...
