Twice over 300. Once playing in a gale... after coming up short on a downhill 174 yard par 3 with a flushed 4-wood into the wind, I rode the wind the other way on the next hole about 335 with a bit of roll... Titleist Persimmon Driver. I had about 50 yards left & pitched on and 2-putted for par. The other was through the green(and the 4-some putting out )on a 297 yard par 4 all carry, very little wind with a Taylor Made knock-off. I got it up & down for bird from some fairly deep stuff behind the green. The guys I hit through were nice enough to show me where it was. I never would've found it ... it was really sitting down. To this day I have no idea how I did it. The stars were just aligned right or something. I usually don't carry it much over 240. I was playing cheap balls on both ... probably Top Flights or something. My driver trajectory is medium-high. Swing thought ? Probably "please let this come down somewhere I can hit it again"... my usual. Swing speed ?

In College I drove it on the fringe of a par 5 495 yards long slight dog leg right. It was in Levelland, Texas very hard ground, very windy. I hit a big hook with a laminated maple First Flight Driver steel shaft and a Titleist balata ball.

Last years longest - Number 14 at The Ranch Club at Promontory playing 373 from the fourth of six tees. Downhill - drove it through the green and scared the group putting. In all fairness, it did land just before the green so it was not all roll. Ran across the green and up to the top of the steep bank in back.

I know I was playingmy old dunlop driver, during the fall at a scramble. I was hitting in the long drive competition. I think I was hitting a Top flite xl3000 pure distance, and they clocked it at 104mph swing speed and around 263 yrds. Not bad for someone whos only been playing seriously for a year

on the 16th hole, I was getting tired, I was last of the tee, after three drives that missed the fairway, I was feeling little pressure... If you asked me how far it was going to go just after I hit it, I wouldn't have said 320, as my usual long drive is 280, but this thing just kept going... it's those nice loose swings with good tempo that I hope to duplicate this year more often.

Titleist Pro V1
Lame old Taylor Made driver... can't wait to replace that thing....

Longest Drive was 375 yards last year in a scramble tournament. Hole was a 475 yard par five. Next shot was a 100 yard sandwedge to about 10 feet. We used both of my shots. Missed the eagle putt but tapped in for birdie. The hole is straight and pretty flat. Did it at the Lebanon Valley golf course on hole 5. Used a Titleist ProVx and used my old Ping Tis 8.5 degree driver that has a perforce gold 65 stiff shaft. Proof that a blind squirrel can find a nut sometime too.

Mine was 300 and a couple, but it was a hot, dry, windy Texas day.

Over 360 yrds in brutal Canadian cold weather in december (around -15C :eek2 Yeah we're die hards getting in our last rounds.
It was so cold by then that the ground was frozen over, some of the ponds as well already had ice on them and it was slightly snowing. With the wind blowing behind us, I hit a solid ball down the middle of the fairway, and once it hit the frozen ground, it just took off ..... then down a 4 story hill to come up just short of the green. Once in a lifetime drive.

340, at my home course. It was a 540 par 5 goes down hill a little bit. There was no wind and according to my caddy it didn't really get much roll which is expected because the fairways tend to be pretty soft. I was using my 580XD with a Fujikura Vista-Pro 60 Stiff shaft

I'm so glad you included the over 200 option!
I was hitting about 180 max with my girls whippy shaft driver, and my husband gave me his stiff shaft 9.5 degree loft cobra, and I hit it 210 the first time I tried.
He is now looking for a new driver
