One of my golf partners took some pictures of my swing(one of me setting up is in the gallery) and I noticed that on my follow through my left leg stays flexed instead of finishing straight & to a firm left side. I never realized it before & have probably always been doing it, though my balance & weight transfer seems fine. My question is what sort of consequences may this have ? How big a problem is this ? & Should I concentrate on getting it corrected ?
I wouldn't worry about that too much, as long as you're making a good weight transfer towards the target.
At your follow-thru, your RIGHT foot's sole should be pointed directly behind you, your belt buckle pointed towards the target, indicating a good strong weight shift towards your target.
I don't finish firm on my left side. I know if Tiger's book he says for extra distance snap your left leg [right handed golfer] into place. Never helps, only hurts my shots when I try.

Be sure to read Tiger's follow-up pamphlet, titled "How Snapping my Left Leg led to Surgery."

You should read Byron Nelson's book about his swing. He is known to be the first to us the lower body for power (larger muscles). His swing was the modern swing up untill the late 90's. In his book he talks about the knees and the leg power, It will give you validity to what you do in your swing.
Now a days teachers custom fit swings to fit the persons strengths. Some players are upper body player others lower and then others use both. Then there is the teacher who teaches torque (upper against the lower). There are other methods for people like the Natural Golf Swing. They are all good - something for everyone.

Thanks Glfdiva, I'll have to take a look at Nelson's book. It was odd, after playing nearly 40 years to see myself in that flexed knee not-exactly-classic looking finish. I generally know what I did wrong when I've hit a poor shot so I guess I should stick with my known problems and quit looking for trouble. I'll be interested to read what he has to say on the subject as I have been told that my lower body does get too active at times. Thanks to all who responded.
