last few rounds my wedges have been lousey

ok, i have always been good around the green... until 3 days ago... where i messed up EVERYTHING! My Pitches are too short, or the go off the club way right, my flops have always been good, but they are scooting of the club way rigth... like 50 degrees right... my shots from the 40 yard range are either slght right (hitting green but leaving 20 footers) or short... what should I do?

I am not hitting them fat or thing they are just going EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE!

What club do you pitch with? If your pitches are falling short, you may want to use a lower lofted club. Pitch with a 9 or an 8 iron. Even a 7 iron if you have a lot of green to work with and can run the ball up to the hole. If you're a right hander and your flops are scooting way right, you're shanking the ball. This means you're hitting the ball off of the hosel. There's another thread in the Golf Tips forums that might help you out.

Remember, a pitch or chip is a finess shot. are you too quick? is your weight on your front foot?
Try being lazy on your short shots and always accellerate through the shot, lazily.
