Cool I had an epiphany on Saturday.

While it was the first time playing outdoors this year I had a hard time playing the first 9 holes. The irons although fair (easier to hit), my driver was garbage. We played from 10am till 3pm & then went to the range. Here is where I figured it out. I was trying everthing to fix it on the course with no success. Needless to say I was a little bagged, so I was not trying anything fancy when BOOM, the ball just sailed off the club about 75 yards farther than all day. I proceeded with this mentality of just dropping the club into the hitting area & everything was perfect. It was very uplifting to have learned how to play golf again this year. The next day was solid, 8 out of 8 fairways & 7 outof nine greens. It is funny because it seemed the more tired I got the better I learned to play.

Sometimes it's good to let your mind get away from the fact that you are actually playing golf. Glad the round got better, and it sounds like Sunday was definitely much better. Maybe you'll get a string of some of that good weather up there!

It was great! Spent about 3 hours on the range Saturday just puring the ball. I'm just glad I picked it up so quick. The weather is gonna be nice here for a few more weeks so all the courses should open up. Golf is just so weird, it seems the less effort I put into striking the ball the farther & straighter it goes. I cannot wait till the greens are in good shape & I can get working on the whole game. Gonna hit the range tonight to try & groove this some more.
