Since there is no fairway wood/hybrid section I will put it here. I just picked this up in 21 degree loft. Nice club, looks great at adress. Nice and compact. I took it to the range and was hitting it high and long. Sliced a few but over all it went pretty straight. The shaft is 40.50 inches which I believe is a little longer than some so it give that little extra distance. I was hitting it on average 220 yards although its hard to tell at the range. This is replacing my 5 wood for the time being and if it works out I might get the 18 degree as well.
Nike is really making some nice equipment these days.
I've been using the 26 degree cpr hybrid wood for over a year and I just bought the 22 and 18 degree cpr's to replace my fairway woods. They're so easy to hit and I love how the head looks like a fairway wood. IMO the cpr hybrid woods are the best clubs Nike has ever made.
I have the 21 degree. Use it to replace my 4 iron. Had it extended 2 inches to get a good swing speed. I am 6'6" so itll let you know why I had to extend it.
Looking at gettin the 18 degree but I just picked up a Talormade R7 Draw Hybid thats 19 degrees. Would like to hit it for a while before I retire it to the golfbags hanging on the wall
I have the 18* CPR, had it about 18 months. Fitted with a Graffoloy Blue stiff shaft which is spined and aligned. I use this lovely club off the tee as often as i can and as my go to club for second shots on long par 5's when i'm in the fairway.
I originally bought the club to replace my 2 iron and gain more consistency, i'm not sure if i could play a round of golf anywhere without it.
Highly recommended.
I've had the 24 degree 4 iron for about a month and love it. And just bought the 18 degree 2 iron, but i have to hold on till saturday to test it out. Ill let you know how it works out.
I have three of them in my bag, and have been using them for the last couple of years. I have tried other hybrids, but these CPR's feel the best, go the straightest, and have a nice sound to them. I love these clubs. I have not tried the Adams, Taylormade Draw (I battle a slice) or the new Bazooka Jmax, which Golf magazine rated very high.
Gave it 4 stars. Really like the clubs. I think the "mini-wood" head shape is ideal for a variety of shots from fairway and rough. Flight is very high and fairly straight.
My only complaint is the lie angle is more upright than I'd like, leading to the occassional hook. Very happy overall. I have the 18 and 22 degree models.
