Re: TaylorMade Hybrid Review

I Have A Taylor Made Hybrid #2 With A 16 Degree Angle.
I Hit My 3 Iron Very High So I Figured If I Used A 16 Degree
Hybrid I Might Get More Distance Because Of The Lower
Degree Launch. I Am Not Very Good At It Yet But When
I Hit It Just Right It Goes About 210 To 225 Yards.

Regards,
The Fox

Re: TaylorMade Hybrid Review

No too bad of a hybrid. I tend to hook it. I would rather hit my cleveland ta3 2-iron.

Re: TaylorMade Hybrid Review

I purchased all new gear after getting back to playing again after 3 years off.
I purchased R7 Draw Hybrids for my 3,4,5's

They replaced my 7 wood I used to hit. and really have helped my game. I really used to suffer from the 170-200 yard range, The Hybrids have put me onto or close to the green more times then not and have really helped my game alot.

Re: TaylorMade Hybrid Review

I go back and forth...if my irons are really on, my hybrid swing is bad so I go with the long irons...but for the most part they are fairly easy to hit and fairly accurate as well...the face on mine is a bit closed despite the TP designation, and I find it difficult to work left to right, much harder than an iron...but from uneven lies, light rough, off the tee I love this club on the whole...thinking about trying out the MP fli hi to see if that is a blend of the best of both worlds...

I noticed this as well. The new Taylor Made TP hybrid club sets up slightly closed, which is hard for me to get used to. I've taken the 19 degree, X-flex out to demo a few times and I would rate it very average. Nothing jumps out at me about the club, but it's not bad either. The head is considerably smaller than most game-improvement hybrids, which may be a bad thing for many golfers.

Re: TaylorMade Hybrid Review

Taylormade's hybrids are not made for hookers. they are definitely made for slicers. unless ofcourse you get the dual tp and put the heavy weight on the toe...
