TaylorMade Hybrid Review

I am very new to golf and yesterday was the third time I have ever played and I must say that I am hooked. I am still developing my swing and trying to get something that I can repeat regularly. These hybirds are so **** easy to hit that I went and bought two more tonight. I cannot seem to hit my TM 5 Ti if my life depended on it unless it was on a tee, so fairway shots were all a disaster. Everytime I pulled out my TaylorMade 4 22* the shot went long and straight.

When I played Trilogy in Corona, CA yesterday I kept wishing I had a little more loft for those shots where you had to clear some water and the pin was 10 feet from the water. The 3 other guys I was playing with all were able to pick the right club to pop the ball up high and drop it next to the pin. My shots would clear the water the pin and tend to roll near the back of the green each time so I am hoping the new TM 5 25* will help me to get the ball high and drop when I need it too.

So much of this game is very hard for me to understand being so new but I must say that these Hybirds have really made it MUCH easier for me to learn and have fun. The ball will always go up and straight and for me that has been impossible to do until now.

If you told me this before I started I would not have believed that I would have run out and bought 3 of them but all I can say is what a great product. Now, I need to get out and really start hitting my irons and developing the same confidence. Sorry for the long post but I just had to share.

Hybrids are a help if your new to the game or have been playing forever.
I have been playing almost forever and never found fairway woods i could
hit consistently. Thats why i added a couple of hybrids and may add a couple
more. It's always better to hit it a little shorter and keep it in play that hit it
a mile and be 10 yards into the trees.

For a newbie, you have a impressive set of clubs! with time, you will be able to develop a lofty shot with any club in your bag. once you have a set swing, try moving the ball a lil more forward and hit the ball on more of the upswing. You will find the ball travel higher

I couldn't agree more!!!

I went from a 14 to an 8 handicap when I left out my 2, 3, 4, & 5 irons and went to hybrids.

NOW I'm going one step further.......last week I just bought the new Cleveland Hibore Hybrid IRONS. WOW !!! If you think hybrid WOODS were easy to hit, you ain't seen nothing yet!!!

Pretty soon I'm going from an 8 to a ....?

I was referring to the fact that he aquired some premium equipment awful quick! I've been playing for 15 years, and what he's got would be a wishlist for me!

Re: TaylorMade Hybrid Review

i've got 2,3,and 4 iron hybrids now and i couldn't be happier. i switch out the 4 iron and 4 hybrid, and will soon get a 3 iron to match my set just incase. there is NOTHING like a purely struck long iron, but hybrids are just soooo darn easy to hit!

i hit my first par 5 in 2 with my 3 hybrid!! 510 yard dogleg right par five - 300 yard drive in the center of the fairway, smoothe 210 yard 3 hybrid into the wind right to the center of the green... 2 putt bird.
