Wink FNG From Maryland

Hi Guys and Gals;

As a new guy to the site, but an old guy to golf (40 years), I look forward to all sorts of advice from you.

I spent 18 years in southern California and played many really nice courses there. My home club was Morgan Run Resort in Rancho Santa Fe. I also put in several frustrating hours at Torrey Pines.

I have moved to Maryland. There is a thing called winter here. I was not ready for this and I am now nursing a herniated disc in my back which keeps me off the courses.

I am a member of the U. S. Naval Academy Golf Club at Annapolis. Very tough little course. Almost 100 years old, home to the Naval Academy across the Severn River.

My favorite courses are Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station, Hawaii, PGA West, Palm Springs, California and Morgan Run.

I look forward to the correspondence. I also look forward to getting back on the golf course.

Have a great day -

Welcome to Golf Rewind CharleyChuck! Hope you can get out there golfing soon

I haven't played Kaneohe Klipper yet, but I plan too soon. I'm a civilian but I had a chance to play at the Hickam AFB course here, Mamala Bay... and I play Barbers Point every couple of weeks. I've played Navy-Marine over by the airport and Leilehua out at Schofield. Klipper is definitely high on my list of courses to play.

Welcome buddy!
I'm the opposite. New to golf. Moved from Maryland to S. California.
But one thing we have in common is that "snow" thing!
Blizzard on a Thurs. I was packing by Tues.
Enjoy the site.
It's great!!!
