Hello, i am 12 years old and i live in MD. i am hopeful that this website can help me out a lot with the game of golf. I do have a few questions. I want to know what a regular score is for someone of my age because in my first round ever, i played the front nine at little falls golf course, and i shot +25. I also want to know if the Nicklaus-golf varsity set of clubs is nice for a peron like me.

to GR. I don't know what a regular score for someone your age is since I'm pretty much a beginner myself. I can tell you that I am waaaayyyy over the age of twelve and in my first round, my score was about in line with yours. I have learned that with practice and perseverance, the scores come down.
Welcome aboard young man, I wouldn't worry about score right now so much as that you're learning the fundamentals of the game over the results right now.
How often do you get to play? Go to the range? Are there any par-3's near where you live? I'd get the most out of learning the short game first, that's where the scoring is done.
there are no good golf courses around me with short holes accept for falls road which i can only go to with a friend and his dad or my father. I am going to go to congressional though in a few weeks after the booz/allen classic. I want to buy my new set of clubs before then. I do go to the driving range when i am at my father's house on wednesdays and every other weekend

Well 2 years ago when I was 12 I was shooting 90-105 for 18 holes, but I have no idea if that's average .
+25 is pretty good for your first time out... I was probably about +40 the 1st time I played 9 holes.
