Ragin Cajun here

Hi,
I have been looking around this place for a couple days now and I must say I love this place. I grew up in south louisiana and still have a house on the bayou. Also I have a house in Kentucky. Currently I am in Kentucky because the weather is better and the golf courses are great and CHEAP. Couple of Pete Dye courses here for around $30. Anyone from Kentucky (Lexington) or south Louisiana, kick me a PM and lets get a TEE-TIME!

Hi cajunfever! Welcome to GR and enjoy the forum!

My husband and I live in the New Orleans area and lived in Houma for about 7 years. It's always nice to meet someone from south Louisiana!

Well we used to live in Houma too. In Broadmoore Subd behind the mall. We moved from thier about 20 years ago to Lockport.

The last 3 courses I played in LA are Sugarland (Raceland, LA), The Bluffs at Thompson Creek and Colonial in Houma near the Dularge Bridge! Golf is so much better up here in Ky then in La. Golf is cheap up here! $30 for a Pete Dye course... $22 twilight with a cart and the course is very challenging!
