I am not a serious player and I just sometimes play at Driving Ranges (but I am getting into it more ) I am starting to play at the Drumpellier Park driving range in Coatbridge! However, I have also played at Dalziel Park driving range, and even Polkemmet driving range. But for now, Coatbridge is my place I do sound a bit of a weekend duffer as I am not even ready for pitch and putt (okay, maybe I am, I hope )

Sorry "ice cool" missed saying Hi to you earlier on in the thread,

Hello from another Scot.

I am also a newbie from Scotland. I live near Falkirk so I'm not far from you.
If you are looking for somewhere to play try Palacerigg golf course (near Cumbernauld). It's only £6.20 during the week and it's a good course for us beginners as long as it's dry. Happy duffing.

yo, I think there are only 2 golf courses associated with North Lanarkshire: Coatbridge and Palacerigg. I played at a practice bit at Coatbridge and it was fun! I would personally rather go to Coatbridge since it is very close and also has the driving range I need! My next stage I think is pitch and putt, and as a matter of fact, I want to soon go to the Pitch and Putt at Callander park at Falkirk.

Has anyone else played at Coatbridge (Drumpellier)
