Cool Confusion Reigns

Hi - Back at the game and need guidance - big time. Does anyone know of "Aspire M5" ladies golf clubs or "Precise Elegante". These are made specifically for GolfBestBuy.com. They look pretty - have graphite shafts and hybrid woods. Very reasonably priced (translation: inexpensive). Right now I don't want to invest in clubs but want to update to determine if I'm going to start playing again. Thanks - from Maryland - land of heat and humidity.

Smile Confusion cleared up

Thank you all for your response.

After all the internet searching about golf clubs I checked with the PGA pro from whom I first took lessons and who supplied my first set of clubs. He laughed and asked where I got all the golf misinformation and told me to pitch it. He is checking into getting me a reasonably priced set of clubs. He has never heard of the variety I asked you all about. At least everyone is consistent and of the same opinion.

The is the first form in which I have participated.
My husband used to tell me golf is a great way to meet new and nice people. Looks like he was right (he was killed last May). I never thought folks would take the time to respond to such a basic question. Even to tell me they knew nothing about what I was asking. How nice you all are. Thanks !

I sorry to hear that you lost your husband. One of my friends just had a miscarriage, she was 7 1/2 months pregnant.

****"I'll always remember the day I broke ninety. I had a few beers in the clubhouse and was so excited I forgot to play the back nine." -Bruce Lansky****

I, too, was looking for info on the PRECISE ELEGANTE LADIES CLUB SET which led me here, only to find out noone knows anything!

I just started playing a month ago, and am VERY excited to have broken 90 on nine holes - twice 68 and 77. Makes me wonder how anyone can play twice as many holes and have the same score!

hi! welcome to golf rewind! both of those set of clubs would do very well to get you going. the two sets are somewhat similar except that the irons for the precise elegante are stainless steel (good thing) where the aspire m5 doesn't say. also, the aspire comes with a bag while the precise eleg. doesn't. you can get the exact same thing on ebay for much cheaper.

Thanks for the info. I actually had already won on eBay the Precise Elegante's for $148 (including shipping)!! I also preferred the Precise Elegante's because they had 3 hybrids instead of 1. I am finding I hit OK with a 5 iron, but a 4 iron for me seems impossible. And I am only 5'1", so I requested the petite size....

The 'no bag' was not an issue because I have already bought a very pretty pink and black one. Must look like a lady, you know.

I have had the Precise Elegante's for two weeks now. In general, I like them a lot. They are a bit heavier than the last set I had, but I got used to it very fast. I love the 3 hybrids, but wish I had a 6 iron.... Oh well, you cannot have everything..... I hit my first and only par (so far) with them.... so they can't be all bad

And being only 5'1", I like that the set comes in petite size as well as regular.

FYI - the set includes 1,3 W; 4,5,6 H; 7-SW I
I paid $148 (including shipping). I saw a set sell on eBay tonight for $86+$25 shipping.

Welcome. Lots of good folks here. One thing about graphite shafts, they give a softer feel and are less stressful than steel, but they have a higher error range than steel.
