Hello everyone
Hi fellow members.
I've been reading up a lot of info before i registered, and I figured this place can hlep me out a lot more than I thought. :):)
As for me, I'm not entirely new to golf.
My dad "forced" me and my elder bro to play golf since we were kids. I started off at about 13 or so, while my bro started off at about 15. We have been practicing more in the range than on the field, but we did enjoy a couple rounds every few weeks or so.
I moved back to Korea about 4 years ago and I've not held a golf club until a couple of weeks ago. I went to a driving range to hit a few, and found that I could still swing and get decent results.
However, there are many things that I'd like to correct within my swing and other things, so I thought I'd give this place a try.
Anyhow, this is what I have in my bag so far:
Callaway Big Bertha War Bird sole plate ruger titanium, stock R shaft
Callaway Heaven wood, stock r shaft...WAY too flexible for me to really use
Ping Zing (was it zing? I forgot) 3 thru sand, black shaft, regular shaft
Odyssey putter.
I find that I can much better hit a 2 iron (dad’s old club) than I can in any fairway wood. I read in this forum somewhere that I should be hitting them like I do irons and not as a driver, so I’m gonna give that a try this week. Until then, I’ll be playing all my approach shots with irons.
My feel for putting is in the twilight zone. I have absolutely no feel for it whatsoever now... I feel like i just started playing again...
Anyway, that's all about me and my life in golf. Hope ot get as much help as possible. :)
Welcome!! We don't have too many members from Korea, and it's always great to hear about golf in different parts of the world, so I look forward to reading what you have to say.

THanks for the warm welcome, fellow golfers. :)
I'm excited about my new clubs that'll arrive tomorrow, the TM R5. Hope it's all that other members here have praised it to be.:) Oh, and got myself some new shoes in the process.
