Cool OnePutt

Just wanted to say hello. I was given this site address from one of your current members because he posted a photo of the putter I built for him and he wanted me to see this site. I haven't had much chance to look around but I did manage to post one reply on getting a new shaft for a driver. I build all my own clubs and some for others. I build and sell my own design of putter. I'm in the process of having the design tested by USGA to get an offical okay to use it on tour. Don't know how long a process that might turn out to be, but it's underway. Someone mentioned that they felt my design was illegal, but after reading all the rules on the USGA website, it's not illegal as far as I can tell. That's one reason I started the testing process to make sure it is legal for tour use. The rules are so crazy and have more room for "opinion" than you can believe. Looks like a few lawyers too many got together and were playing games. It's a total mess when you get right down to it. I'll let all of you know how it turns out with the testing. In the mean time, I'll have a look around the site and see what's up here.

Cool website

Thanks for the welcome. I don't have a website at this time, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. I build the putters with difference kinds of wood, so you have a choice of what you want the putter to look like, light wood or dark. And the two pods on top can match or not, it's up to you. I'll take a few photos of the last batch of putter blades and pods so you can tell more about the way they look. Thanks again for the welcome, I appreciate it. Feel free to send me an email if you are interested in more information or photos. Type at you later, Don.

I'm new here too. I think there's some terrific people and exhange going on here. Our commonality, of course, is binding. Enjoy.
