help,help,help, etc,etc

Hi outthere, new to site now I can get some expert advice instead oy asking my golfing buddies who know less than I do.The question came up as to the hands are at impact. I have always heard that they should lead the club face but does that hold true for all shots such as Driver, fairway woods, long irons, could sure use some advice.

Technically, yes, it's known as "lag", but be careful you can overdo it. And of course if other aspects of your swing aren't somewhat correct (mostly angle of descent) it can hurt you at first...one thing for sure - you never want the clubhead to pass the hands until the ball is gone. Hope this helps. Welcome to Golf Rewind and enjoy your stay.

I think it true, the hands are in front of the club head, with one exception..... Sand shots.
