Hi im Tom. I live in Michigan. I started golfing at 9 years old. I play mostly local courses around here. My low round for summer is an 86 at Moravian Hills. I've shot in the 80's several times this Summer. I play old MaCgregor MX irons that are about 15 years old. I play 3-9 with irons, P wedge, S wedge, 56 L Wedge. My driver is a Wilson Staff 360cc, my fairway woods are very old metal woods, Accu Steel 5 wood, Tour action 3 Wood. I play with old technology. I might change up next season to a good set of forged irons. Any reccomendations. I was thinking Wilson Staff. I feel confident enough to play forged irons.
Some local courses around here I like to play are Sylvan Glen, Sanctuary Lake, Pine Trace, Boulder Pointe, Moravian Hills. Some good tracks here in Oakland County Michigan. I played Sheppard Hollow for the first time too.
and enjoy GR!, I play with a set of Macgregor Tourneys, a few years old now, bought them 2nd hand this year and I just love them!
I still have my Ping I3s ( Oversize, Blue Dot) but don,t see me going back for, well?......

Hello Tom! There are several of us here on Golf Rewind that are practically neighbors. I live in Waterford (about 3 miles from Shepard's Hollow) and I've played most of the courses you listed. What did you think of Shepard's Hollow?
Welcome to Golf Rewind Tom! Glad to see another "Old Club" fanatic. I play and collect older Wilson Staff clubs. I am currently playing the 1971 buttonback blades.
Hi Tom, welcome to Golf Rewind, your sure to find that posting here is quite easy to do and the folks are easy to get along with....have fun. Would recommend checking out the Mizuno MX-23 line or the MX-17's...lots said about those two on a few forums.
