hello
Have been in the golf business more years than I care to admit as a supt. Wasn't good enough to be a club pro (in retrospect, THANK GOD!!), so I went the grounds maintenance route because I enjoyed being around golf in some manner - received my BS in agronomy - after I got a BA in business. Decided that at heart I was really just a golf rat, so I went back to school to get my turf degree. At one time, I had a high single digit handicap, but now can't even come close to breaking 90, but still have a great time playing. If anyone is interested in asking questions about the maintenance practices they've seen on their course or how they set up tournaments they see on TV, please feel free to ask. This is by far the best forum I've seen for golf message boards - thanks for starting this up!
