Hello from the Isle of Wight in the UK

Hello everyone.
I have only just seen the light and found out what a terrific game golf is. I have only been playing for about 6 months and at 60 years old feel that I am a bit of a late starter. I have joined a club here on the Isle of Wight which is only a nine hole but there is a great community spirit and I can only play once or twice a week as I am still working. I started off playing 110 but have now got down to a regular 90 and less. I got my first birdie last week on a par 3 without using a putter. My first shot landed short of the green and I chipped it down the hole with a chipper. I am still over the moon and talking about it now. I am sad I know.
That's about it for now but I shall look forward to joining in with the forum in the future
Cheers
Ray

Hello Ray and welcome to the Golf Rewind web site...great to have you aboard and it's better to start late then to never start...way to improve yourself in such a short time...getting to know some of the rolls and bounces of your club surely helps I bet.
