Hi TripPoint! Same here, sort of. I've been only mildly interested for years, but started to take it more seriously this past Fall (would have started taking it seriously this past Spring, but was on the mend after breaking 2 arm bones. My swing has suffered a great deal.) I have golf on the brain now though and can't wait for the snow to melt and the courses to open back up here. That's what led me to this site. I just joined up last week....

Welcome trippoint! I joined GW a couple of months ago. It's a great place to meet nice folks and learn the
art of hitting a that little white ball the right way! Where abouts in Cali are you? I'm about 20 miles
south of San Francisco. If you're closeby let's play some golf!

Thanks for all the welcoming replys. I can tell already this is great site to participate in. I live in the Sacramento area, and am just starting to play again. So far only driving ranges... I don't quite feel ready to try a course just yet, but it shouldn't be to long now.
