Hey from Iowa

Hey i am a 2nd year golfer from Iowa. I picked up the game last year on a bet from one of my friends. It went something like, he would try football and then i would have to go out for golf. Well he did so i ended up going out for golf. The first time i golfed, or sorry i am a Junior in high school, in a meet i shot a 73 ya i know yikes and that is only 9 holes again u dont have to tell me yikes, well i was like what did i get myself into. So i told myself from then on i was going to shoot nine holes everynight and then after practice go home and hit more and more balls. NOt to mention read everything about golf i could find. Well then the next meet i shot a 63 it was a huge improvement for me. well i kept at it kept practicing more and more, and so by the time our next golf meet rolled around i shot a 52 and i though **** i dont think i can get any better then this well i did i ended going down to a 49, 45, 44, and then eventually a 41. And at our conferense meet,(18 holes) i shot a 81, and at districts (harder course) a 89. So ya there is my golf story for you guys. I love this forum u guys are awesome

Save your nickles and dimes and play the Harvester outside of Des Moines.
