Hi from somewhere near London
Been reading this forum for a couple of weeks, and finally registered in order to reply to the "brush tees" thread.
I've been playing for a long time now (16 years!), so I've got no excuse for playing badly -- particularly as I started when I was a teenager. Currently playing off around 18-22 but although I play every week, it's recreational really.
I'm presently a member at Manor of Groves GC in High Wych, near Sawbridgeworth in Hertfordshire. I've played most of the courses nearby and decided to stick with MoG for another year as it has IMHO the best combination of course, price and convenience. They've got bag-sized lockers which is great as I've got a very small sports car...
I've previously played in some *fairly* exotic locations including some of the courses in the Algarve (Vilamoura I, II, Palmares), Amarilla GC in Tenerife, Wildmoos in Austria and Chamonix in France, but not for some time. Visited Florida twice in the last two years but with wife and kids in tow and no clubs!
