A Youngster!

Howdy! First of, My Name is Tim, i'm 19, and i'm from Michigan. I obviously golf, and I like to work on my explorer. I'm going to Saginaw Valley State University for Marketing. Not really sure what my handicap is, Not sure how to caculate it.

My clubs are (Irons) Adams Perf. Gt's, (Putter) Odyssey White Hot #1, (Driver) Maltby head (250 something), Penley Shaft with an Oversized Grip. I'm currently shopping for a new driver.

I shoot mid 40's, and Par is 39. I'm not great, but i'm not bad.

And From what I have seen so far, this is a great site, and i'm liking it.

Hi Tim. No age barriers here. We're all people who enjoy golf in some form or another.
I was in Michigan 18months ago for the Ryder Cup. Loved your state and it's people.

Its a great all around area. Lots of scenic areas/cultural areas. Just stay out of ohio though. Ever heard of why Michigan's so Windy? Because Ohio Blows lol.

Sorry Tim,
my Best American friend is from Ohio AND they have a DUBLIN.
Been there twice for Ryder & Solheim cups.
Flew through 5 time zones and still ended up in Dublin
Could have flown to Dublin California (there's one near Sacramento) and that would have been 8 time zones ....
Anyway may make it back to Detroit some day. Stop off for a meal rather than just gas in Holland; in fact cover most of Europe ina day's drive

Ohio still blows . Once you live in Michigan, You learn to not like Ohio. I've wanted to go to Germany For YEARS. My Dad took his Tour in the Army in germany, and always tells me how great it is, I wanna experience it for myself. Plus, I could go golfin in Irenland while i'm in the area, and check out how great amsterdam is suppose to be . Unforutuantly, I don't have any money to be screwing around in Europe lol.

I Have to edit this.

Its actually a Maltby GT 250 head, On a FUJIKARA Vista Pro(Its my dads driver, and i'm thinking his last year driver, which had a Penely shaft (Measured out to be like 52-54"! It was HUGE.)) And an Oversized grip.
