New to Golf

Hi. I'm new to golf--I'm on my second week of lessons and I'm really enjoying it so far. (Luckily, my coach is very patient. ) I played my first official round of golf last night & I know that I have a lot to learn still. I've been told that I make contact well, but my balls always seem to go to the right..

Any advice you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you. To be honest, I never thought I would like golf--I never really gave it a chance though. After taking a few lessons, I really do like it. Maybe it will help me learn some patience........

Hi Rhonda

I'm also new to Golf and one of the few ladies who I see at the driving range..
I've not played a round yet though so you're ahead of me - good to meet you

Hi Sarah,
Are you taking lessons also? I have not seen any ladies at the driving range here. In fact, I've only seen one woman playing golf so far. I work across the interstate from the local golf course & now I find myself watching to see how far they hit their balls.... I'm going after work today to practice hitting with & without tees. I think I'm addicted...
