I there! Thought I should jump in here as summer arrives to get some tips on my game. I'm 25 years old and live in Washington, DC. I work in marketing, which I love, and try to get out on the course as much as possible. I don't have a car, which makes trips to the driving range few and far between - but I'm working on it!

Looking forward to talking to everyone here, I definitely have a lot to learn!

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I picked up golf about a year ago and have never had a real lesson, just advice from friends on the course. I've been out about 10 times on a course and more at driving ranges. I usually play 9 as opposed to 18! I can hit it long and straight about 120-150 yards (I'm female!) pretty consistently but my short game is juuuuuuuust awful!

I really need to take a lesson b/c I'm sure I"m developing some bad habits. :P
